Myrtle Beach Vacation and Braxton is 9 months old!

I am going to start this blog with Braxton’s 9 month, since I only have one picture and then you will see all the wonderful pictures from out great vacation in Myrtle Beach/Calabash. Braxton had his 9 month check up on Friday and he is a hefty 19lbs 10oz, which puts him in the 40th percentile and he is 29 inches long, which puts him in the 75th percentile. So lucky him he is tall and thin!!! (Mommy is jealous, haha).  As he gets older he is making it more difficult on us to get the monthly pictures he does not want to sit still.

Okay now on to our beach vacation to visit Grammy and Gramps. We all had a blast, we have determined that Braxton is definitely a water baby; he loves the beach, pool, kiddie pool, and even the shower. We went to the beach twice while we were there for the long weekend and Braxton had a blast, he loved the sand and the water. Here are some adorable pictures.
Here is Gramps showing Braxton the beach!
Braxton loved playing in the sand and putting mud all over daddy's legs
Braxton trying to "catch" the waves
 More playing in the sand

This is one of my favorite pictures, Braxton was watching the waves come in, he was so happy.
The family on the beach!

After a day at the beach,  Braxton decided he would steal Gramps chair... and he thougth it was so fun.
Here is a cute picture of Grammy and Braxton
One of the other days we went to the pool, which again, Braxton loved.
After floating in the pool Braxton wanted to cuddle with Grammy.

One morning while the "men" went golfing, Grammy, Braxton, and Mommy went for a walk.... a lot longer walk then we thought but we had fun.
Here is a cute picture of Braxton after taking a bath, with his hair all brushed and tamed (that doesn't last long)

On the 4th of July Braxton got all dressed up with an adorable outfit from Nonnie.
Also on the 4th of July Braxton finally got to meet Aunt Judy and Uncle Gary.

Here is Braxton relaxing in the the little kiddie pool
Here is Braxton playing in the backyard

The morning that we left we all went out for breakfat and Braxton was of coures his adorable self.

We all had such a great time on vacation we can't wait to go back!

Braxton is 8 months old!

Braxton is now 8 months old.... I know it's hard to believe. He is now 28 inches long and 19lbs. This month Braxton is continuing to do new things, he loves to blow raspberries, eat food with his hands, and attempting to crawl. (He is almost there!) I have a few pictures of Braxton at 8 months and some with Grammy who was nice enough to come babysit Braxton for us, when Nonnie was on vacation. Also I have added some new videos of our little guy.

I just love that little smile!!!
He loves his feet! I think he likes to show off how flexible he is.

When Grammy got here, she got right down on the floor and Braxton just had to climb on her.
Braxton is just cheesing it up!!!
Grammy is trying to tell Braxton some stories... but Braxton remembers what his cousin Mikayla told him "Grammy is crazy!!!"

I of course was trying to get Braxton to say "mamma" and he thought it was hilarious! I guess I should start with "dadda."

Braxton decided it would be fun to show off how he can do raspberries....with a mouth full of peas!
Braxton has also learned to dance... well like a white man but it's cute. Here he is dancing to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Braxton's First Visit to Massachusetts

We had a wonderful trip home to Massachusetts over this past Memorial Day weekend. The trip started out pretty rough we were supposed to fly out of Louisville to Detroit to Detroit to Providence. Well we went to the Louisville airport and our flight was canceled so they got us a flight from Cincinnati to Boston instead. So we had to drive to Cincinnati then when we got to Boston, my Aunt Cynthia had to pick us up and drive us to the Providence airport to pick up our rental car. So for one “direct” flight we went to 4 different states and 4 different airports!! (Which equals 12 hours of traveling!!) Braxton did great on the plane though we were very lucky. I will warn you now this is a long blog...we had a busy weekend and took lots of pictures!

On Saturday my dad had a cookout for Braxton so all of his friends and family came to meet Braxton.

Braxton with is "Great" Aunt Beth
Braxton could not get enough of "Great" Uncle Steve's mustache and glasses. He was so cute putting his head on his shoulder.

And of course Braxton loved playing with Lola which we couldn't figure out what exactly they are --second cousins or something like that.

 Braxton is eyeing his cake.
 Mommy and Braxton
Braxton playing with Daddy.

On Sunday we had a very busy day, the start of the day was a very special occasion. It was my best friend Cory’s bridal shower that my dad was nice enough to let us have it at his house. Now for all of you know me I love putting on these kinds of things so I have to show the décor, I think the day was a success Cory was smiling from ear to ear. So mission accomplished!! and yes she was late for her own shower!!
The shower had a beach theme since Cory and Mike are getting married at the beach in Cancun.
Here is one of my favorite things,  this beach picture with the couples name in the sand.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED the cake!!! It come out perfect.
 The dessert table
Here is the candy bar.... blue and white color theme if you can't tell.
 The Beautiful Bride!!
The groom even showed up... Cory and Mike
Auntie FF (Alyssa)  finally meets Braxton...we might be able to get her to Kentucky now that she met Braxton in person... he is hard to stay away from. I mean look at that smile.
The men at the shower talking it up.
Braxton is quite the ladies man... he met Lanie, my friend Ashley's daughter
and he couldn't get enough of her!
Braxton of course had to cuddle with his Auntie Cory
We also took a picture of me and my FF with Braxton ...(by the way FF means First Friend Alyssa and I have been friends since kindergarden)
Here is Braxton after the shower.... "what in the world just happen and where did all those ladies go?"

Our day was not even close to over,  after the shower we were then off to visit with Dowlings... we were so exicted to show off the newest member of the family!
Braxton went right to Uncle Mark - His "Great" Uncle Mark it was adorable.
Of course he played a lot with his Great Aunt Cynthia.
Braxton just loved meeting his Great Aunt Joyce. She spoiled him with some toys he just couldn't put down.
Here is Braxton playing with Jenny, he was showing off a little!
Harrison was trying to show up his newest cousin and play the guitar better than him....
This is one of my favorite picture of the weekend, Braxton playing on the floor at Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Marks house.

On Monday we just hung out at Grampa's house and went swimming in the kiddie pool.
Here is Grampa setting up the pool.

Braxton got ready to swim but was not too sure about the grass.
